What were the requirements?
We were looking for a candidate who:
- Was fluent in both Spanish and English.
- Had experience in administrative support, with a strong willingness to adhere to our standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Possessed strong critical thinking skills to analyze situations and propose effective solutions.
- Took accountability for mistakes, learned from them, and implemented preventive measures.
- Was highly motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Exhibited exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

What were the responsibilities?
Michael’s role involved serving as a bilingual communicator for Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clear and effective communication. In addition to this, he was responsible for:
- Handling administrative tasks to support overall team operations.
- Performing bookkeeping duties and maintaining accurate financial records, in line with SOPs.
- Continuously learning, asking questions when needed, and seeking guidance as necessary.
- Contributing to a positive team environment with his outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills.
What was the candidate’s background?
Michael has a solid background in financial management and accounting, with experience in cash management, QuickBooks, and accounts management. In previous roles, he successfully managed bank reconciliations, invoicing, and accounts, while also preparing detailed financial reports and tracking project revenue.
Originally from Ecuador, Michael’s native language is Spanish, and he holds a Certificate of English from Cambridge. These qualifications made him an excellent fit for a bilingual accounting position.
