What are the responsibilities?
Strategic Time and Energy Management:
- Ruthlessly prioritize the CEO’s time and commitments to align with the company’s key priorities.
- Curate a schedule that maximizes the CEO’s energy, focus, and business impact.
- Proactively manage distractions, filter non-essential tasks, and oversee daily scheduling with a strategic lens.
Decision Partnership:
- Enthusiastically immerse yourself in the CEO’s decision-making framework to act as their proxy when appropriate.
- Anticipate decisions the CEO would delegate and take initiative with confidence and precision.
System and Process Leadership:
- Leverage tools like Notion.so and Keap (training provided) to manage workflows, organize priorities, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Continuously improve internal systems to enhance productivity at scale.
Information Flow Management:
- Act as the CEO’s gatekeeper for filtering, synthesizing, and presenting critical information to ensure informed decision-making.
- Draft key communications, meeting summaries, and strategic briefs.
Stakeholder Engagement and Representation:
- Interface with high-level internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and follow-through on key priorities.
- Confidently represent the CEO in conversations, ensuring their priorities and vision are clearly communicated.
Special Projects and Executive Initiatives:
- Drive and oversee projects that contribute to the CEO’s and organization’s strategic goals.
- Take ownership of ad hoc initiatives requiring high-level problem-solving and execution.
